Similar to the Centre designed for Māʻili, an urban prototype was developed to showcase the benefits of the Hawker Centre model to a dense population. Located at the crossroads of Waikiki, Moʻiliʻili, and greater Ala Moana neighborhoods of Honolulu, the larger centre incorporates a permanent farmer's market, cooked food stalls, and a number of sundries for locals and tourists alike.

Built to house a magnet school for various arts, Urban Theatre turns a black field auto shop into a thriving artist community. The 12-story tower contains classrooms, dormitories, galleries and admin related programming. The formation of a central courtyard space merges the performing arts and the surrounding urban fabric to engage not just the audience present, but passers-by and the public at large.

Proposed as an alternate to the total re-build of one of China's ancient capital's and birthplace of tofu, Shouxian reimagines the ideal tourist city as a means to preserve the existing people and culture, as well as develop a careful plan for how to remove the shoddy architecture of recent decades and develop a clearer, more efficient mainstreet construction.

The annual Art Verona modern art festival in Milan, Italy is in a new, permanent location. Linking the ticket booth entry to the entry of the gallery space, Il Nesso creates a portal to another world that actively grows and changes as the event progresses.

Engaging the ancient Roman wall surrounding the London Financial District, Ludgate reimagines an old portal that once connected the medieval city to a prominent tributary to the Thames. In a hypothetical site that was destroyed in a fire, a pumping station and park replaces the once dense street front, reinforcing the city's ability to fight future fires.
