Proposed as an alternate to the total re-build of one of China's ancient capital's and birthplace of tofu, Shouxian reimagines the ideal tourist city as a means to preserve the existing people and culture, as well as develop a careful plan for how to remove the shoddy architecture of recent decades and develop a clearer, more efficient mainstreet construction.

In a tributary lake to the Huangpu River, development of a international sailing regatta site is underway. With the aim of creating the largest fresh water marina in China, the client proposed an observation tower to be built over the water to allow for sweeping views across the countryside towards the Shanghai skyline.
