A 26-core mixed-use community built in Haliar, Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, China, Element reimagines a modern urban lifestyle that will compliment to proposed downtown business district that is slated for construction along the nearby man-made lake.

Built to house a magnet school for various arts, Urban Theatre turns a black field auto shop into a thriving artist community. The 12-story tower contains classrooms, dormitories, galleries and admin related programming. The formation of a central courtyard space merges the performing arts and the surrounding urban fabric to engage not just the audience present, but passers-by and the public at large.

Constructed of a wooden structure, 565 Kokea reimagines the life of the promenade along the Kapalama Stream and future site of the Kapalama rail station to service Honolulu Community College. with a goal of creating affordable house and an lively life-style, the mixed-use community merges craft and skills to create a truely unique community that rivals the prosperous First Friday

Inspired by Peter Eisenman's theory of 'El Forms', Kahaluu House juts over the water from the tip of the mountain like a subterranean geometric structure that has been uncovered by the forces of nature.

The follow study removes the previous design for a house in Kahaluu Hawaiʻi and places it on a lakeside site in Grand Marais, Wisconsin. The building then had to undergo modifications to adapt to respond to the severely cold winters and relative seclusion.

Hawaiʻi's new Accessory Dwelling Unit law allows for greater applicability throughout Honolulu's property owners. The design of a unit in Manoa Valley under 400SF utilizes the natural ventilation and protects the home from the frequent showers that make the valley a lush icon of Oahu's geography.
